Myanmar Orphanage Project

Near the city of Putao, Myanmar we were able to partner with other organizations to build a home for approximately 40 children who were orphaned and without homes due to a devastating tsunami and civil war. The home was built with supplies funded by 61 Surplus and some local Burmese Craftsman donated their labor to construct the home.

"If only 7 percent of the 2 billion Christians in the world would care for a single orphan in distress, there would effectively be no more orphans. If everybody would be willing to simply do something to care for one of these precious treasures, I think we would be amazed by just how much we could change the world."
